The Stamp Out Hunger food drive is on for 2024!

On Saturday, May 11, 2024 you may place a bag of non-perishable food items at your mailbox for pick up by your local Letter Carrier in partnership with the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.
The Stamp Out Hunger Food drive is the largest, one-day food drive in the United States.
What can you donate?
| peanut butter | hot or cold boxed cereal | canned meats (fish, chicken) | canned vegetables/fruit |
| boxed pasta | canned soup | condiments (ketchup, jelly) | baking items |
| nuts | rice/potatoes | granola bars/snacks | shelf stable milk |
Items should not be expired or damaged, and try limit items in glass containers.
MacKID tip: Check your cabinets for items you no longer use - a sauce you won't try again, the mac and cheese brand your kids disliked, that can of beans you really thought you'd use by now, or that extra box of pasta that could help someone in need. No extra trip to the store required! Be sure to check expiration dates!
How do you donate:
Leave your bag where your Letter Carrier is able to see it. If you'd like to leave a note, or label it "Stamp Out Hunger" that's great, too! You may use any bag you like. Letter Carriers will pick up the items when they deliver your mail.
