July is on it's way out! Summer is almost over. (Have we had enough rain yet?) I do hope to get one more quick, local trip in before school starts.
July has always been my favorite month. Fireworks, hot weather, beach season, our wedding anniversary. Our daughter was almost born in July, too! Five years ago this week we were waiting for her to arrive. She made us wait until August 2nd. (How has it already been 5 years?!)
As we close out July and look forward to back-to-school season and cooler weather, I also want to let you know that we have EVENTS coming up. The last few months we've seen a lot of changes on our calendar and in our communities. This fall I hope to see you all at event!
Mark your calendar for these events that we'll be at (with a free craft & giveaway!):
August 22, 2021 - Civic Days in Fitchburg
September 11, 2021 - Olde Home Day in Clinton
September 25 & 26, 2021 - KidsFest at Wachusett Mountain
These events last took place in 2019! I am so excited to see them return. I can also tell you that I'm starting to color macaroni for our famous macaroni necklace craft! (Did you see the video on Instagram?).
A few other events that are happening next week that look really exciting:
🍿 FREE Friday Night Movies in the Park (Fitchburg)
National Night Out 2021 - Gardner
National Night Out 2021 - Leominster (we hope to visit this one!)
Check out a Cruise Night In Central Massachusetts
🐕 Flying High Dogs - Outdoors at Central Park in Clinton (we'll be attending this!)
Another I love seeing in our communities is that libraries are back open! I tend to favor the Leominster Library on Mondays to get some work done out of the house. Be sure to check the calendar for events and visit the library websites to confirm hours and availability.

I hope you get a chance to get out and enjoy these last few days of July. How about finding a cool ice cream spot? (Your Guide to Ice Cream in Leominster and Beyond).
I have a feeling August is going to start and be very busy from day one!
Peace, love and macaroni,
Emily
