Special Program offered by the Clinton Police Department:

SAFE RETURN HOME INFORMATION AND SIGNUP EVENT

Thursday, November 10, 2022 - 3:00pm to 7:00pm

The Clinton Police Department is launching a new program called Safe Return Home. This program is a voluntary registry that families can signup and provide us with important descriptive information about their loved ones who are at risk of getting lost due to dementia, autism, or other cognitive or developmental disabilities.

This program will be available to any residents of any age. The program looks to gather helpful information about your family member, along with a recent photograph so that our officers can quickly reference the registry and use the information to help them in their search to locate your loved one should they wander, get lost, etc.

We will be partnering with the Council on Aging to host an information session and sign-up event this Thursday, November 10, 2022, from 3:00 pm-7:00 pm at the Clinton Senior Center, 271 Church Street. Please stop by to talk with our officers, ask questions, and get more information about the program. You can sign-up at the event or take the information you learned, along with a registration form, and speak with family members about the Program.

If you are unable to attend the event this week, please come by the station any time and request to speak with an officer regarding the program and registering your loved one.
