If you're traveling with the entire family - and even pets - there's a space for everyone at Point Sebago Resort. We stayed in a cute two bedroom cabin that was clean and organized. Think 'tiny-house' style - the space was small, but if the kids wanted to relax they could go to their room and lay on their beds. Of course you want to stay away from electronics while on vacation, but let's be real - you're going to want to capture a ton of photos and you've got to charge your devices. Every room had at least two standard outlets with a USB port next to the beds, even the top bunk! The cabin had everything we needed from a full size stove and fridge, coffee maker, microwave, sink, mounted tv, toaster, the bathroom had a toilet, sink and shower.

This trip our kids took their first selfie together! My son was so proud. (Sometimes bringing the technology is a good idea!)

Rocky's Arcade - Our kids LOVED this. It's classic - skeeball, basketball, pinball, a virtual Wicked Tuna fishing game, air hockey and MORE. Music and lights welcomed us early in the day, when the kids weren't sure what they wanted to do yet. Even as adults we took advantage of the games, too. This was definitely a moment where we just let loose and played all games. It was convenient that everything was loaded on a card - your quarters and your tickets!

Outdoor dining at the Landing Restaurant and Tiki Bar was such a treat! The Landing menu includes yummy salads, fun appetizers and main meals like lobster rolls, fish and chips, fish tacos - and of course pizza. The kids enjoyed their pizza and fries, I thoughroughly enjoy the lobster roll (twice!) and my wife was very happy with the steak and cheese sandwich. It was nice to enjoy the view and take it all in while we sat and enjoyed our meals. We enjoyed grab-and-go breakfast from the General Store which included muffins, pastries and breakfast sandwiches and plenty of hot coffee; I had to have the blueberry flavor! We also enjoyed getting (huge!) ice creams from the Snack Shack.

We spent time with each of our kids just walking along the water. There was so much to explore - you just have to slow down and look. Kids are GREAT at this skill - they'll stop to see every rock, branch, puddle or leaf if you let them. And on this trip, we did.

Lake life is the good life! Relaxing on the beach was a favorite of many families and guests at the resort. They come well prepared with their canopies, chairs, games, coolers and water floats. The Snack Shack - ice cream, burgers, fries and more - is a quick walk along the beach. If you need anything else, the General Store is right there, too.

The playgrounds were asked about every day - and it was easy to say yes to letting them go back again and again. We could sit and relax on the sand nearby while they met new friends and climbed all over the equipment. One smaller playground is even fenced in for the little kids.

Being on the lake also offers opportunities to rent a boat with your family - or even take a kayak out as a couple! Currently they offer rentals for fishing boats, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, powerboats and pontoon boats.

Another great thing about Point Sebago Resort, are your options for accommodations. Bring your RV (and your golf cart if you have one!). Choose a Glamping Tent or Stargazer 'glamping container' that allows you plenty of open views. There are a variety of cabins, too. Basic, double deckers, and premium - each with different sizes to accommodate your family or large group. If you're traveling with a very large group and need space for up to 24 people, there's the Island Lodge, or up to 10 people at the Cottage on the Green.

We made sure to take it all in while visiting the resort. Yes, leave it all behind, but you don't have to give up the things that make traveling easy and fun at Point Sebago Resort. We hope to make another visit because there's so much more to do and we really want to try a Glamping Tent!

"Point Sebago Resort is a gem, a lakefront rustically elegant resort that encourages guests to stop and smell the pine trees, families to congregate for unhurried days by the lake, and romantics to toss away the car keys for a deep dive into the Maine woods.

The picturesque location, full calendar of activities for adults and children, entertainment programs, and nationally recognized 18-hole championship golf course combine to create the perfect vacation destination. In the spring and fall, take advantage of our Golf Stay and Play Packages. If you have a furry family member joining the fun, we have a number of pet-friendly cabins."
